This is a beautiful piece for the dreamers. It looks like a water drop and is filled with a few little white feathers and some sparkles of gold leaf, encased in eco friendly resin. White feathers symbolize faith and protection but also pacifism and peace. It's a dainty little piece

The drop is  is hung from a dainty gold vermeil chain and cap peg. Vermeil means it's gold plated sterling silver, which is great for people with sensitive skin and it is a thicker layer of gold then normal gold plating.

Details

- drop is 16 X 13 mm
- 20 inch/ 51 cm gold plated sterling silver chain and cap peg.
Be aware that even it is a thicker layer of gold then normally, it can still ware off
after wearing it for a longer time.
- eco-friendly resin is plant based, UV resistant and non toxic

The process:

Each step in the long process to create a botanical piece is taken with much precision and care. From finding special flowers, using different methods to dry them while maintaining their colours and shapes, casting a clear resin, sanding and polishing each item. Overall it can take up to a week to complete a piece of jewellery. But it is all worth it when you see the magical end product.

The resin I use is from Ecopoxy (www.ecopoxy.com), which is a plantbased, waterproof, UV resistant and non-toxic epoxy that is truly green. Even though it is more costly and it takes more effort to get a clear and bubble free end product than with regular (toxic) resins, I think it is worth the trouble for my own health and the planet's sake ✨🌿🌷
